Some NYCHA tenants in Manhattan are fighting to save their homes -- following the city's plan to sell portions of the development to a private developer.
Residents at the Robert Fulton Houses in Chelsea held a rally at the community center to denounce the move.
ニューヨーク市が民間ディベロッパーに住宅の一部を売る計画を立てたことに対して、マンハッタンのNYCHAの市営アパートの住民で、自分たちの住まいを守るためにたたかっている人たちがいます。
チェルシーにあるロバートフルトンハウの住民がその動きに対して、コミュニティーセンターで抗議集会を開きました。

Last month, the de Blasio administration confirmed plans to let a private developer build a mixed-income building on the city-owned land.
Thirty percent of the new units will be designed to be affordable for public housing residents. The rest will be priced at market rate.
先月デブラシオ政権は民間ディベロッパーに市の所有する土地に居住者の収入に応じた住居建設を許可する計画を固めました。
新しい建物の３割が比較的安い家賃の市営住宅になります。後は相場の家賃となります。

The new structure will go up after demolishing two buildings within the Fulton Houses.
"Our home, I mean I don't want to lose it. Where are we gonna go? That's what I tell everybody, if we don't stick together, they're gonna take it from us and I don't want them to take it," one protester said.
Before the demolition happens, the city says two new structures will be built in the development's parking lot to house the displaced residents.
複数あるフルトンハウスの中の２棟を取り壊した後、新しい建物ができます。「我々の家なんだ、失いたくないよ。どこに行けばいいんだ？我々が団結しないとやつらは俺たちの家を奪ってしまう、そんなことはさせない。それをみんなに訴えたいんだ。」と反対している住民の一人は言っています。
アパートを取り壊す前に、市は２つの新しいアパートを駐車場の土地に建て、住民はそちらに移ってもらうと言っています。
