生成AIについてはビジネスなど、情報伝達を目的に使う場合は、かなり有効で時間の短縮や人手不足や経費不足を補うことができるようです。

問題は、学校、大学、教育機関での使われ方です。
今回は、特に学校において、「文章を書く」ということを教えることの意味を話題にしています。

A.I technology will not replace human writing in the next ten years. The reason is simple, artificial intelligence uses public information that is already on the Internet to generate a response to the question. If humans stop writing, then A.I. will have no more information to use and the responses will become outdated.

 For example, when I asked Chat GPT to create a new joke, it responded with a joke I already heard. In addition, artificial intelligence can not give quality opinion writing because it doesn't think for itself. A.I. checkers are also becoming a lot stronger in catching artificial intelligence. 

例えば、私がチャットGPTに新しいジョークを作るように頼んだら、すでに聞いたことのあるジョークを答えました。また、人工知能は自分で考えないので、質の高い意見を書くことができません。人工知能で生成されたものかどうかを知るためのA.I.によるチェックも強くなっています。

A.I. is not able to create any new or better information, it can only copy materials from outside sources and compile different pieces of information into a finished product. These are the reasons why we do not need to worry about artificial intelligence for now.

A.I.は新しい情報、より良い情報を生み出すことはできませんが、外部からの資料をコピーし、さまざまな情報を組み合わせて完成品にすることだけはできます。以上のことから、今のところ人工知能を心配する必要はありません。

Writing is used in many individuals' casual day to day life, either by completing an English writing paper, writing a heartfelt message to a friend, or in my case by completing a high school application paper. Writing is a way to express your thoughts and feelings into words. So that the writer, and the recipient can understand the writer's opinions in a clear and formal manner. 

書くことは多くの人の何気ない日常生活の中で使われています。英語の論文を完成させたり、友人に心のこもったメッセージを書いたり、私の場合は高校入学願書を完成させたりといったように。書くことは、自分の考えや気持ちを言葉にする手段です。そうすることで、書き手も受け手も、書き手の意見を明確にきちんと理解することができます。

Some benefits that come with writing are the individualization that comes with your writing piece, to truly express your own ideas and emotions on the topics. And once you completed you can refer back to your work and feel proud about what you completed. Mr. Bruni shows a similar opinion by stating, “The clarity, coherence, precision and even verve with which you do that - Achieving a polish and personality distinct from most of what A.I. spits out..”

The author shows how creating a quality piece of work can possibly create a great first impression for a reader by showing that you are well educated on writing skills and can express your opinions in a studious manner. Whilst with AI, you are creating a dishonest first impression.

When you tell A.I to write you a creative story, where does all that creativity come from? When A.I writes any kind of story, all it is doing is taking ideas. All of the ideas given to you from A.I were not thought up by a computer. In today's technology, that is impossible.

Instead, these ideas come from others. A.I studies millions of papers and finds the best ideas represented in those. Because of this, when you tell A.I to write for a creative project, it is not creative, just iterative. You might be thinking, “well maybe A.I could adapt to these ideas unlike others have.” You would be wrong. 

こうした考えは、コンピューター自身の考えではなく、他からくるのです。A.I.は何百万もの論文を学び、その中から最高の考えを見つけ出します。このため、A.I.に独創的なことを行うために何かを書くように指示しても、それは独創的なものではなく、何かの反復に過ぎません。それなら、他の人にはないものが欲しいとA.I.に要求すればいいと思うかもしれません。それは間違いだろうと思います。

As quoted from Caltech Science exchange, “AI cannot think for itself. It will do exactly what it is programmed to do, which makes the instructions engineers give an AI system incredibly important. If you don't give it a good set of instructions, the AI's learned behavior can have unintended side effects or consequences." A.I doesn’t have any ability to think for itself. All A.I can do is copy. Therefore, in today's world, A.I cannot be creative, just an analysis of the text given to it.

カリフォルニア工科大学のサイエンス・エクスチェンジから引用ですが、次のように書かれていました。「A.I.は自分で考えることはできません。プログラミングとおりに動きます。そのため、エンジニアがA.I.システムに与える指示が非常に重要になります。適切な指示を与えなければ、A.I.が学習した行動は意図しない副作用や結果をもたらす可能性があります」と。A.I.には自分で考える能力はありません。A.I.にできるのはコピーだけです。したがって、今日の世界では、A.I.は創造的であることはできず、与えられたテキストを分析するだけです。

学びの本質がA.I.の登場で、大きく変わろうとしています。今後どういう形の学びがあらわれてくるのかを注意深く観察していきたいと思います。
