「アフタースクール」は、「放課後の活動」のことです。
いわゆる、一般的な「クラブ活動」や、「学童保育」のようなものです。

"afterschool club"が正式な名称のようで、ロングマンには次のように定義が載っています。

この雑誌は、ニューヨーク市の５つの行政区ごとに内容がことなり、その地域の家族や子供に関する情報がたくさん掲載されていました。

さて、今回は保護者が気にする子供のアフタースクールの過ごし方です。
