梅雨がないニューヨークは、5月から夏の終わりにかけてあちこちで野外コンサートが催されます。昨日はブライアントパークのイベントをご紹介しましたが、今日は野外音楽コンサートをご紹介します。（動画の部分はYou Tubeからです。）

New York City once again will be full of exciting opportunities to see live music for free. From old standbys like SummerStage in Central Park and BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! fest in Prospect Park to the newly announced Summer for the City festival at Lincoln Center, music lovers can enjoy a wide variety of performances spanning all genres, in all five boroughs, all for free.

ニューヨークは、今年も無料で楽しめるライブ音楽が盛りだくさんです。セントラルパークの『サマー・ステージ（SummerStage）』やプロスペクトパークの『BRRIC セレブレイト・ブルックリン！（BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn）！』などの定番から、新たに発表されたリンカーンセンターの『サマー・フォア・ザ・シティ(Summer for the City)』まで、音楽愛好家は5つの地区すべてで、あらゆるジャンルのさまざまなパフォーマンスをすべて無料で楽しむことができます。

Starting on June 11, SummerStage is returning to NYC with a plethora of free and benefit shows. Held in 12 neighborhood parks throughout the city, this year’s festival includes nearly 90 shows showcasing new and renowned artists, as well as genres synonymous with NYC, like salsa, jazz, hip-hop, indie rock, soul, pop, dance, and more. 

6月11日から、『サマー・ステージ』がニューヨークで開催され、募金のみの無料公演が行われます。市内12の近隣の公園で開催される今年のフェスティバルでは、サルサ、ジャズ、ヒップホップ、インディーロック、ソウル、ポップ、ダンスなど、ニューヨークの代名詞ともいえるジャンルのほか、新人や有名アーティストを紹介する約90のショーが開催されます。

New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks
Ever since it first began in 1965, New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Park have provided a space for New Yorkers to come and enjoy live classical music on summer nights.  The concerts start on June 14 at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, followed by a separate performance each night in Central Park, Cunningham Park, Prospect Park, and indoors at St. George Theatre on Staten Island.

1965年に始まって以来、ニューヨーク・フィルハーモニック・コンサート・イン・ザ・パークは、ニューヨーカーに夏の夜に生のクラシック音楽を楽しんでもらう空間を提供してきました。コンサートは6月14日にブロンクスのヴァンコートランド公園で始まり、セントラルパーク、カニンガム公園、プロスペクトパーク、そしてスタテン島のセントジョージ劇場の屋内と続き、毎晩違う曲目が演奏されます。

NY Philharmonic outdoor concerts return after 2-year COVID hiatus

Naumburg Orchestral Concerts
The oldest continuously running free outdoor classical music concert is returning to Central Park. Since 1905, Naumburg Orchestral Concerts have offered free concerts to New Yorkers in an effort to share classical music with those who may be unfamiliar with it. Held at Central Park’s Naumburg Bandshell, this season of performances kicks off on June 14 and runs until August 2, filled with a wide variety of classical performances from ensembles, orchestras, and solo instrumentalists. 

ナウムバーグ管弦楽団コンサート
クラシック音楽のもっとも古くから続いている野外無料コンサートがセントラルパークで再び開催されます。1905年以来、ナウムバーグ・オーケストラ・コンサートは、クラシック音楽を知らない人たちにも音楽を楽しんでもらおうと、市民に無料のコンサートを提供しています。セントラルパークのナウムバーグ・バンドシェルで開催され、今シーズンは、6月14日に始まり、8月2日まで、アンサンブル、オーケストラ、ソロ楽器奏者による様々なクラシック音楽のパフォーマンスで埋め尽くされます。

Summer on the Hudson: Amplified Sundays
Located at Pier 1 on Riverside Park South, Summer on the Hudson: Amplified Sundays highlights danceable music with breathtaking views of the sunset over the Hudson River.

34th Street Midtown Music
Consisting of a series of pop-up performances spread throughout the 34th Street District, 34th Street’s Midtown Music aims to share the joy of live music with New Yorkers as they pass through Midtown.

Backyard at Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards is hosting a variety of exciting events this summer.  Besides live music, guests can watch sports and movies on a 30-foot big screen, eat from a variety of local food trucks, and participate in fitness classes.

ハドソンヤードのバックヤード
ハドソンヤードでは、この夏、さまざまなエキサイティングなイベントが開催されます。音楽ライブのほか、30フィートの大型スクリーンでスポーツや映画を観戦したり、地元のフードトラックで食事をしたり、フィットネスクラスに参加したりすることができます。

TSQ Live in Times Square
Hosted by the Times Square Alliance, TSQ Live is a celebration of New York City’s arts community that invites New Yorkers to come and see free outdoor art performances. Events include live music, DJ sets, public art installations, dance workshops, comedy hours, and much more. 

TSQライブ in タイムズスクエア
タイムズ・スクエア・アライアンスが主催するTSQライブは、ニューヨークのアート・コミュニティの祭典で、市民を無料の野外アート・パフォーマンスに招待するものです。ライブミュージック、DJセット、パブリックアートインスタレーション、ダンスワークショップ、コメディーアワーなど、さまざまなイベントが開催されます。

Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City
This summer, Lincoln Center is hosting a three-month-long festival to bring New Yorkers together through art. Called Summer for the City, the festival includes 300 events and over 1,000 artists.

For over 40 years, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! has been providing New Yorkers with a summer-long outdoor performing arts experience. The festival highlights a wide variety of performers, ranging anywhere from international superstars to local legends.

Hudson River Park
This year’s season of programming and events at Hudson River Park is one of the busiest yet. The lineup includes over 260 events from May to November, thanks to funding from Hudson River Park Friends. Beginning June 3 and reoccurring every Friday, Sunset on the Hudson will be hosted at Pier 45, providing a space for live music across all genres from known and emerging artists.

今年のハドソンリバー・パークはこの時期たくさんの放送番組やイベントがあり、これまでで最もその数が多いもののひとつとなっています。ハドソンリバーパークフレンズの資金援助により、5月から11月まで260以上のイベントが計画されています。6月3日から毎週金曜日に開催される『サンセット・オン・ザ・ハドソン』は、ピア45で開催され、有名アーティストや新人アーティストによるあらゆるジャンルのライブ音楽のための空間を提供するものです。

Live at the Archway
Come enjoy free live music underneath the Manhattan Bridge Archway in Dumbo this summer. Every Thursday night starting at 6 p.m., rain or shine, Live at the Archway will be hosting free concerts and programming, including a headlining act and an artist’s solo show in a pop-up gallery.

アーチウェイでライブ
この夏、ダンボのマンハッタン・ブリッジ・アーチウェイの下で無料のライブ音楽を楽しみませんか？毎週木曜日の夜6時から、雨天決行で、ライブ・アット・ザ・アーチウェイでは、人気ミュージシャンの演奏や期間限定ギャラリーでのアーティストの個展など、無料のコンサートや催しを開催します。

ニューヨークはいつでも訪れる人を楽しませてくれます。２年間、コロナでステイホームを余儀なくされた市民は、空白の２年間を取り戻すのに大忙しです。こうした元気が街をますますクリェイティブなものにしていくのだと思います。
