昨日に続いて、トランプ政権発足から100日の間に起ったことについて、若者がニューヨークタイムズに寄せた投稿を読みます。

Trump's first 100 days in office have expressed to me more than anything. I’m personally most affected by my food habits. Mid-2024, I was an avid（熱烈な） egg consumer; averaging nine a week. Today, my home refrigerator has two eggs in stock with little to no intentions of replenishing（補充する）. 

トランプ大統領の就任後100日間は、私に非常に多くのことを教えてくれました。個人的に最も影響を受けたのは、私の食事です。2024年半ばまで、私は卵が大好きで、週平均9個食べていました。今私の自宅の冷蔵庫には卵は2個しかありません。買い足す予定もほとんどありません。

Above all, I recognize his drive(意欲) for totalitarianism. More often than not, people putting strong acts against him or his decisions are either shut down, or down right（徹底的に） punished. Just yesterday on day 100 Amazon abolished their movement to publicly display the price impact of Trump’s 145% tariff on Chinese products. This simple, fact based, act of protest was shut down because of Trump directly contacting Jeff Bezos and ultimately getting his way. 

何よりも、彼の全体主義への執着を感じます。彼や彼の決めたことに反対する強い行動を取る人は、ほとんどが無視されたり、露骨に罰則を科せられたりしています。昨日がトランプ政権の100日目でしたが、アマゾンはトランプの中国製品に対する145%の関税の価格への上乗せ分を別に表示する措置を取りやめました。事実に基づいて表示するという簡単な抗議も止めさせられました。トランプが(あアマゾンの創業者である）ジェフ・ベゾスに直接連絡を取って、最終的に自分の考えをとおしたのです。

Back on day 57, March 17th, Trump tried to remeve Gorgetown Researcher 

and avid  Palestinianist activist, Badar Khan Suri, from the United States; only to be denied by a federal judge, a branch Trump is actually actively trying to silence（黙らせる）. Then the notable event on day 55, March 15th, United States Resident, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, was wrongly removed from the United States. 

57日目の3月17日のことですが、トランプはジョージタウン大学の研究者でパレスチナ支援活動家のバダル・カーン・スール氏を米国から追放しようとしましたが、結局、連邦裁判所の判事に却下されました。この判事はトランプが実際、積極的に封殺しようとしています。そして、55日目の3月15日、注目すべき事件が起りました。米国在住のキルマー・アブレゴ・ガルシア氏が不当にも追放されたのです。

👩スール氏の弁護士は、スール氏の妻がパレスチナ系アメリカ人で、夫婦でパレスチナの権利を支持する権利を有していると主張しました。連邦裁判所のパトリシア・トリバー・ジャイルズ判事は、トランプ大統領に懐疑的であり、スール氏の国外追放は却下されました。

Garcia still sits in El Salvador's Terrorism Confinement（監禁） Center today, Trump has yet to lift a finger over the national known matter. I think Trump is actively pushing an agenda that is showing to care less and less about immigrant residents and the American people’s knowledge of what exactly he’s doing; I cannot get down with that.

ガルシア氏は現在もエルサルバドルのテロリズム収容センターに拘束されており、トランプは全国的に知られるこの問題に対して何の措置も講じていません。私はトランプは、移民住民や彼が行っていることについてのアメリカ国民の正確な知識を、どうでもよいと考える政策を積極的に推進していると思います。私はそのことに納得できません。

👩このほかにも、関税や移民対策について、トランプ政権を批判のコメントが多かったです。やはり、若者たちの日常で大きな影響をまのあたりにしているからでしょう。
