ホームデポの郊外店を見ます。街中店とどこが違う？

ニューヨークのホームデポは、ホームセンターです。日本にもホームセンターはありますが、店内を歩き回るだけでアメリカの生活に溶け込める感じがします。

今日は、昨日の後半になります。

倉庫店の隣は温室で、ガーデンセクションの続きにありました。そこではガーデニング用品や発火具、肥料が全種類揃っています。

... plant food, lawn mowers, and more. It was almost as big as the store itself.

植物肥料、芝刈り機などなど。温室はほとんどお店そのものと同じくらい大きかったですう。

There were a lot of registers by the exit, along with a self-checkout.

出口の近くに、セルフレジと並んで、たくさんのレジがありました。

Also near the exit was a Pro Services desk that helps professionals to order materials ahead of time and save on purchases. There was also a tool-rental system.

また、出口の近くにはプロサービスデスクがあって、プロが材料を事前に注文して無駄な仕入れをしないよう手助けをしていました。また工具のレンタルもやっていました。

The suburban Home Depot definitely had a warehouse feel to it, but it had everything you might need for home and garden projects.

ホームデポ郊外店は実に倉庫店の雰囲気一色ですが、家や庭を良くするために必要になるものすべてを揃えていました。

The suburban store had way more to offer. It had a greater variety across the board and carried products like lumber and gardening supplies that the NYC store was lacking.

その郊外店はもっともっと色々なものを売っていました。全体的に品揃えがすごいし、ニューヨークシティのお店にはない材木やガーデニング用品のような品物もありました。
