"The Blue Party"のような年に１回の大きなイベントばかりではないです。今回はこれから行われる、他のイベントも見てみました。

During The Foundling’s information session on becoming a foster parent, we will talk about the responsibilities involved, licensing requirements, and the paperwork needed for the application. Becoming a foster parent is one of the most rewarding ways to make a difference in our community. Staff will be on site to answer questions and talk through any topics you would like to learn more about.

フォスターペアレントになるにあたって、ファウンドリングが様々なことをお伝えします。内容は、フォスターペアレントとしての責任、資格、申し込みの手続きについてです。フォスターペアレントになるということはコミュニティーを良くしていく最もやりがいのあることのひとつです。会場ではスタッフが色々な質問にお答えし、お知りになりたいことをどんなことでもお話しいたします。

First Thursday Happy Hour with The Foundling

A monthly happy hour series on the first Thursday of each month to benefit The New York Foundling and their work empowering 30,000 children, youth, adults, and families each year to live independent, stable and fulfilling lives. A portion of bar proceeds will be donated to The Foundling. Please direct questions to events@nyfoundling.org.

毎月第一木曜日に開いているイベントです。毎年3万人の子供たち、青少年、成人、家族
が、自分の力で安定して充実した生活ができるようニューヨークファウンドリングを支え、協力しています。カウンターの売り上げの一部はファウンドリングが寄付金としてお預かり致します。質問は直接ファウンドリングのイベント係まで。

秋には"FALL FETE"というイベントもあります。

This year’s Fall Fête is a celebration of our innovative programs that enable youth in foster care to reach new heights with rigorous academic opportunities and empower individuals with developmental disabilities. This year we will be honoring Robert Farrell, former Foundling trustee, and the employees of UPS for their dedication and support of The Foundling and our mission to strengthen and improve the lives of children, youth, adults and families.

今年の「フォールフェイト」は、学びの機会が厳しい状況にあるフォスターケアを受けている若者がさらに水準の高い教育を受けられるよう、また発達障害をもつ人たちに力をつける、画期的なプログラムです。今年は前ファウンドリングの役員で、献身的に支援をしていただいている宅配会社のUPSのロバート・ファレルを讃え、子供たちや青少年、成人、家族の生活を強く良いものにしていく我々の使命に感謝するものです。
